Flexible wins Varian orders following the release of their new "Truebeam Cancer Treatment System" (see www.varian.com for more details). Both companies have benefited from Early Supplier Involvement initiatives however Flexible still had to win the orders following a fully competitive tendering process. Flexible are pleased to be able to continue supporting Varian in its fight against Cancer.

Introduction of Seiki Systems For Production Scheduling

Flexible has introduced Seiki Systems "Shop Scheduling System with Shop Floor Data Entry and Collection" production software to improve production visibility, work in progress monitoring and customer delivery feedback. The new software works seamlessly with Efacs, our Integrated Business System.

As part of the company's planned quality improvements, Flexible saw the arrival of a 5 axis Brown and Sharpe CMM which has been located in a new purpose built, temperature controlled room.

Further to the new roof and refurbishment of Unit 3, Flexible has moved its TurnMill section and Assembly facilities into their own departmental areas.

After careful review of several competing systems, Flexible are pleased to announce the introduction of HYPERMILL and HYPERVIEW from OPENMIND as the company's new CAM software which provides up to full 5 axis programming facilities and is integrated within Solidworks and Vericut.
Announcement - Transfer of the Paint Business

As part of a general strategic review of Flexible's business activities, the company has taken the decision to transfer all of its current paint business as from 1st October 2007 to J.R. Finishright Ltd (also based in Horsham) and withdraw from painting as an integral part of the business.
